Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 6, 2026
Last Updated: October 6, 2026

Introduction

Conch LLC ("Conch," "we," "us," or "our") builds communication services designed around privacy, data minimization, encryption, and user control.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Conch collects, why we collect it, how it is used, when it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and the choices you have regarding your information.

This policy applies to Conch websites, mobile applications, desktop or web applications, and related services that link to this Privacy Policy, including messaging, voice and video conversations, communities, Shore, games, and other Conch features (collectively, the "Services").

Conch is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

Our approach is simple:

Private communication content should stay private. Operational information should be limited to what is reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the service.

1. Our Privacy Principles

Conch is designed around several core principles.

We Minimize Data Collection

We try to collect and retain only the information reasonably necessary to operate Conch, provide requested features, process payments, protect users, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law.

Private Communications Are Different From Operational Data

Certain Conch communications are protected using end-to-end encryption ("E2EE").

Where a feature is identified as end-to-end encrypted, Conch is designed so that Conch's servers do not possess the information necessary to decrypt the protected communication content.

However, operating a communications service still requires limited operational information, such as account information, delivery information, conversation membership, device information, timestamps, security events, subscription status, and network information.

We do not represent that using Conch makes a person completely anonymous or that no metadata exists.

We Do Not Sell Personal Information

Conch does not sell your personal information.

We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use the contents of your private communications to build advertising profiles.

We Do Not Use Private Communications to Train AI

Conch does not use the content of your private messages, private attachments, private voice conversations, private video conversations, or private groups to train artificial intelligence models.

We Do Not Listen to Private Conversations for Advertising or Profiling

Conch does not use bots, artificial intelligence systems, advertising systems, or other automated systems to listen to the content of your private voice or video conversations for behavioral profiling or advertising.

Your Camera and Microphone Are Yours

Conch does not randomly, secretly, or continuously activate your device's camera or microphone.

The microphone is used only when you intentionally participate in a Conch voice or video conversation.

The camera is used only when you intentionally enable video during a Conch video conversation.

Conch does not use your camera or microphone in the background for advertising, profiling, surveillance, analytics, or data collection.

2. Information You Provide to Conch

The information we receive depends on the features you choose to use.

Account Information

When you create or manage a Conch account, we may receive information such as:

  • username;
  • display name;
  • email address;
  • profile photo or avatar;
  • profile information you choose to provide;
  • account preferences;
  • verification information;
  • subscription or entitlement status; and
  • information necessary to recover, secure, or administer your account.

We do not require your legal name merely to maintain a standard Conch account unless it becomes necessary for a particular transaction, legal requirement, support matter, or other specific service.

Authentication Information

We process information necessary to authenticate and protect your account.

Passwords are intended to be stored using secure one-way password hashing rather than as readable plaintext.

Where Conch provides encrypted account-recovery mechanisms, encryption or recovery information may also be processed or stored in encrypted form.

You are responsible for protecting passwords, recovery phrases, device credentials, and similar authentication information provided to you.

Profile and Social Information

If you use social features such as Shore, communities, profiles, friends, follows, reactions, or similar features, we may process information you voluntarily make available through those features.

Depending on the feature and your privacy settings, this information may be visible to other Conch users or to the public.

3. Messages and Private Communications

Conch provides messaging features that may include direct messages, private groups, communities, and other forms of communication.

End-to-End Encrypted Communications

Where Conch identifies a communication feature as end-to-end encrypted, message content is encrypted so that only authorized participating devices are intended to possess the keys necessary to decrypt it.

Conch's servers may process and store encrypted message data in order to deliver messages, synchronize devices, support offline delivery, and maintain the service.

Because the content is encrypted, Conch may not be able to retrieve the readable contents of those communications, including in response to support requests or legal demands.

Messaging Metadata

End-to-end encryption protects message content. It does not necessarily eliminate all metadata.

Conch may process limited information necessary to operate messaging, including:

  • sender and recipient account identifiers;
  • conversation identifiers;
  • group membership;
  • message identifiers;
  • timestamps;
  • delivery state;
  • encrypted-message size;
  • attachment information;
  • device routing information; and
  • security or synchronization information.

We seek to minimize such information where reasonably practical.

Messages You Send to Other Users

Recipients of messages may save, copy, screenshot, forward, record, export, or otherwise retain information that you send them.

Encryption cannot prevent a recipient from retaining information after the recipient receives and decrypts it.

4. Attachments, Photos, Videos, and Files

When you voluntarily upload or send images, videos, documents, or other files, Conch processes those files to provide the feature you requested.

Where attachments are part of an end-to-end encrypted communication, they may be encrypted before or during transmission so that Conch does not have access to the readable file contents.

Conch may nevertheless process limited attachment metadata required for storage and delivery, such as:

  • encrypted file size;
  • file identifiers;
  • upload and expiration information;
  • storage location;
  • encryption information; and
  • information necessary to authorize access to the encrypted object.

Publicly shared media, Shore media, community content, profile pictures, or other content intended to be visible publicly or to a broad audience may not use the same encryption model as private communications.

Where Conch provides tools to remove photo metadata, such as EXIF or location metadata, the application will explain when that functionality is being applied.

5. Voice, Video, and Screen Sharing

Conch may provide private voice conversations, video conversations, screen sharing, and related real-time communication features.

To provide these services, Conch and its real-time communications infrastructure must temporarily process audio, video, network packets, and connection information necessary to transmit the conversation between participants.

Conch Does Not Record Your Private Conversations

Conch does not record private voice or video conversations.

Conch does not create permanent audio or video recordings merely because a conversation occurred.

Audio and video transmitted during a private conversation are intended to exist only as necessary to provide the live communication and are not intentionally retained by Conch as recordings after the conversation ends.

If Conch ever introduces an optional recording feature in the future, that feature would require separate disclosure and appropriate participant controls or consent before recording occurs.

Camera Access

Your camera is used only when you intentionally enable video during a video conversation.

Conch does not randomly activate your camera.

Conch does not activate your camera merely because the application is open.

Conch does not secretly activate your camera in the background.

Conch does not use your camera for advertising, behavioral profiling, analytics, surveillance, or unrelated data collection.

When you turn video off, Conch is not intended to continue capturing video from your camera for the conversation.

Microphone Access

Your microphone is used only when you intentionally participate in a voice or video conversation where microphone access is necessary.

Conch does not randomly activate your microphone.

Conch does not secretly listen through your microphone while you are not participating in a voice or video conversation.

Conch does not use your microphone for advertising, behavioral profiling, analytics, surveillance, or unrelated data collection.

When you mute yourself, Conch is not intended to transmit your microphone audio to other conversation participants.

Screen Sharing

Screen sharing occurs only when you intentionally choose to share your screen using a Conch screen-sharing feature.

Conch does not automatically capture or transmit your screen merely because you are using the application.

You are responsible for ensuring that sensitive information is not visible on your screen when you choose to share it.

Technical Call Information

Conch may retain limited technical information necessary for security, troubleshooting, service operation, and abuse prevention, such as:

  • participants;
  • conversation start and end times;
  • conversation duration;
  • connection status;
  • network quality information;
  • device information;
  • connection diagnostics; and
  • technical error information.

This technical information is different from recording or retaining the actual audio or video contents of a private conversation.

If another participant independently records, photographs, captures, screenshots, or rebroadcasts a conversation, that activity is outside Conch's control.

6. Shore, Communities, and Public Content

Not everything posted through Conch is private.

Features such as Shore, public profiles, public communities, community posts, public comments, public media, and other public or semi-public spaces are designed to allow information to be viewed by other people.

Content posted publicly should not be treated as confidential.

Public or community content may be stored in readable form because the service must be able to display that content to its intended audience.

We may process public content as reasonably necessary to:

  • display it;
  • distribute it to other users;
  • provide search or discovery features;
  • enforce community and service rules;
  • investigate reported abuse;
  • protect the service; and
  • comply with applicable law.

Private-message encryption policies should not be assumed to apply to content you intentionally publish publicly.

7. Games and Interactive Features

Conch may provide games and other interactive features.

When you participate in a game, we may process information such as:

  • game participants;
  • invitations;
  • game state;
  • moves;
  • scores;
  • results;
  • timestamps;
  • resignations;
  • game history; and
  • information required to synchronize gameplay between users.

Game information may remain associated with your account for reasonable periods necessary to maintain game history, statistics, security, and service functionality.

Game activity should not be considered an end-to-end encrypted private message unless Conch expressly identifies it that way.

8. Information Collected Automatically

When you use Conch, some technical information may be generated automatically.

This may include:

  • IP address;
  • browser type;
  • operating system;
  • application version;
  • device type;
  • device or installation identifiers;
  • date and time of access;
  • server requests;
  • network information;
  • crash information;
  • security events;
  • login activity;
  • authentication attempts;
  • approximate geographic information inferred from an IP address;
  • application performance information; and
  • information necessary to prevent fraud, spam, bots, attacks, or abuse.

We use this information primarily to operate and secure Conch rather than to create advertising profiles.

9. Device Information and Anti-Abuse Protections

Conch may process limited information about a device or installation for purposes such as:

  • account security;
  • detecting suspicious logins;
  • preventing automated account creation;
  • preventing trial abuse;
  • enforcing reasonable service limits;
  • detecting compromised sessions;
  • protecting encrypted communications;
  • push notification delivery;
  • investigating attacks; and
  • preventing fraud or misuse.

Depending on the platform, this may include a Conch-generated device identifier, platform-provided application identifier, push notification token, device type, operating-system version, application version, and related security information.

Conch does not intend to use device identifiers for cross-service behavioral advertising.

10. Camera and Microphone Access

Privacy around your camera and microphone is a core part of how Conch is designed.

Unlike platforms that may request broad device permissions for advertising, analytics, content analysis, background processing, or unrelated functionality, Conch's camera and microphone permissions are intended specifically for real-time conversations you choose to participate in.

Microphone

Conch uses your microphone only when it is required for a voice or video conversation that you intentionally join or initiate.

Conch will not intentionally:

  • randomly activate your microphone;
  • listen through your microphone while you are not participating in a voice or video conversation;
  • record your private conversations;
  • use microphone audio for advertising;
  • use microphone audio to build a profile about you;
  • use microphone audio to train artificial intelligence models;
  • analyze ambient conversations taking place around your device for marketing purposes; or
  • continuously monitor your microphone in the background.

Microphone access remains subject to your operating system's permission controls.

You can revoke Conch's microphone permission through your device settings.

Doing so may prevent voice and video conversation features from functioning.

Camera

Conch uses your camera only when you intentionally participate in a video conversation and choose to enable your camera.

Conch will not intentionally:

  • randomly activate your camera;
  • secretly activate your camera;
  • access your camera merely because Conch is open;
  • record your private video conversations;
  • use camera footage for advertising;
  • use camera footage to build a profile about you;
  • use camera footage to train artificial intelligence models;
  • continuously capture video in the background; or
  • use your camera for unrelated surveillance, analytics, or data collection.

When your camera is disabled during a conversation, Conch is not intended to continue capturing video from it.

Camera access remains subject to your operating system's permission controls.

You can revoke Conch's camera permission through your device settings.

Doing so will prevent video conversation features that require camera access from functioning.

No Background Surveillance

Conch is not designed to use your camera or microphone as a background surveillance tool.

We do not want access to what is happening around your device when you are not actively using those features.

Permission to use a camera or microphone does not give Conch permission to use that hardware whenever it wants.

Our intended use of those permissions is limited to providing the voice and video communication functionality that you deliberately activate.

11. Photos, Videos, and Files

Certain Conch features may allow you to select and share photos, videos, documents, or other files.

Conch accesses those files when you choose to select, upload, send, or share them through the Services.

Where supported by the operating system, Conch may use limited photo-picker or file-picker functionality that allows you to select specific content without granting unrestricted access to your entire media library.

Conch does not need unrestricted access to every photograph, video, or file on your device merely because the application is installed.

You can manage applicable file, photo, or media permissions through your device settings.

12. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, Conch may use services provided by your device platform, such as Google Firebase Cloud Messaging or Apple Push Notification service.

Those services may receive information necessary to deliver notifications, including device or application push tokens.

We seek to avoid placing unnecessary private message content in push notification infrastructure.

Depending on your notification preferences and device settings, message previews or other notification information may appear on your device's lock screen.

You can control notification settings through Conch and your operating system where those options are available.

13. Payments and Subscriptions

If you purchase a Conch subscription, upgrade, add-on, or other paid service, payment information is generally processed by a third-party payment processor or application marketplace.

For web payments, this may include processors such as Stripe.

For mobile purchases, payment processing may also be handled through Apple, Google, or another platform provider.

The payment processor may collect information such as:

  • card or payment details;
  • billing name;
  • billing address;
  • transaction information; and
  • fraud-prevention information.

Conch does not need to store your complete payment-card number when payment processing is handled by an external payment processor.

Conch may receive and retain limited transaction information such as:

  • payment status;
  • subscription type;
  • billing period;
  • transaction or customer identifier;
  • purchase date;
  • renewal or cancellation status; and
  • limited payment-method information supplied by the processor.

We use this information to manage your subscription, provide paid features, handle refunds, prevent fraud, and maintain financial records.

14. Trials, Promotional Offers, and Promo Codes

Conch may offer free trials, introductory offers, promotional subscriptions, discount codes, or other promotions.

To operate these programs and prevent abuse, we may process information such as:

  • account identity;
  • email verification status;
  • device or installation information;
  • previous trial or promotion use;
  • promotional-code redemption;
  • subscription status;
  • timestamps; and
  • security or fraud signals.

We use this information to determine eligibility and enforce promotion limits.

15. Website Information, Cookies, and Local Storage

The Conch website and web application may use cookies, browser storage, session storage, IndexedDB, service-worker storage, or similar technologies where necessary.

These technologies may be used for:

  • authentication;
  • keeping you signed in;
  • protecting sessions;
  • saving preferences;
  • storing encryption-related information on your device;
  • maintaining application state;
  • fraud prevention;
  • security;
  • remembering consent choices; and
  • improving website reliability.

Conch may also use limited analytics on its public marketing website to understand website traffic and performance.

Analytics used on the public website do not give Conch the right or technical ability to inspect the contents of end-to-end encrypted private communications.

Where legally required, we will provide appropriate choices regarding non-essential cookies or similar technologies.

16. Information Stored on Your Device

Some Conch information may be stored locally on your device rather than on Conch servers.

This may include:

  • application settings;
  • encrypted communication state;
  • cryptographic keys;
  • cached application resources;
  • locally cached messages;
  • session information;
  • recovery information;
  • temporary files; and
  • application preferences.

Information stored locally may remain on a device until removed by Conch, removed by the operating system, deleted by you, or removed when the application is uninstalled, depending on the particular information and platform.

Deleting information from Conch's servers does not necessarily delete copies independently stored on another person's device.

17. How We Use Information

We may use information described in this policy to:

  • create and maintain accounts;
  • authenticate users;
  • deliver messages;
  • provide voice and video conversations;
  • provide Shore and community features;
  • provide games;
  • synchronize information across devices;
  • deliver push notifications;
  • process subscriptions and purchases;
  • provide customer support;
  • operate and improve the Services;
  • diagnose software problems;
  • maintain reliability;
  • prevent spam, fraud, bots, harassment, and abuse;
  • identify security threats;
  • protect users and Conch infrastructure;
  • enforce our Terms of Service;
  • comply with applicable law; and
  • defend the rights and safety of Conch, our users, and others.

We do not use the content of private end-to-end encrypted communications, private voice conversations, or private video conversations to create behavioral advertising profiles.

18. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose limited information in the circumstances described below.

Service Providers

We use companies that help us operate Conch.

These may include providers of:

  • cloud hosting;
  • content delivery and network security;
  • real-time voice and video infrastructure;
  • email delivery;
  • push notifications;
  • payment processing;
  • application hosting;
  • database infrastructure;
  • error monitoring; and
  • other technical infrastructure.

These providers may process information only to the extent required to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted under their agreements and applicable law.

Depending on the service, providers may include companies such as Stripe, LiveKit or related communications infrastructure providers, Google, Apple, cloud hosting providers, email-delivery providers, and network-security providers.

The specific providers used by Conch may change as our infrastructure evolves.

Other Users

Information you intentionally provide to another user is shared with that user.

Information you post publicly may be visible to anyone who can access that content.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is required to:

  • comply with applicable law;
  • respond to a valid subpoena, court order, warrant, or other lawful request;
  • enforce our agreements;
  • investigate fraud or abuse;
  • protect the security of Conch;
  • protect the rights or safety of Conch users or others; or
  • respond to an emergency involving a risk of serious harm where disclosure is legally permitted.

If Conch does not possess readable copies of end-to-end encrypted content, we cannot provide readable copies of that content merely because it has been requested.

We may still possess limited account or metadata associated with the service.

Business Transactions

If Conch is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

Any successor would remain subject to applicable privacy obligations regarding the information transferred.

19. Advertising

Conch does not currently use the contents of private communications for advertising.

We do not sell personal information or share private communication content with advertising networks for behavioral advertising.

We do not use microphone audio, camera video, private voice conversations, or private video conversations for advertising or behavioral profiling.

If Conch introduces advertising-supported features in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide disclosures appropriate to the advertising technology used before materially changing how personal information is used.

20. Data Retention

We do not keep every category of information for the same amount of time.

Retention depends on why the information exists.

We may retain information:

  • while your account remains active;
  • for as long as necessary to provide the feature you requested;
  • for a defined expiration period associated with a particular feature;
  • as necessary to prevent abuse or fraud;
  • as necessary to maintain security;
  • as required for financial or tax records;
  • as required by applicable law; or
  • for a reasonable period necessary to resolve disputes or enforce agreements.

Some messages, media, or other content may be automatically deleted after a period specified within the applicable Conch feature.

Where Conch represents that content expires or is automatically deleted, we will attempt to delete or render that content inaccessible according to the applicable feature's retention rules, subject to limited technical backups, security records, legal obligations, or information already received and retained independently by another user.

Public content such as Shore posts may remain available until you delete it, your account is deleted, the content is removed under our policies, or another applicable retention rule applies.

Encrypted content may remain temporarily on servers to support delivery to offline devices.

Security records may be retained longer than ordinary service information when reasonably necessary to identify repeated attacks, fraud, abuse, or attempts to bypass service restrictions.

Payment and transaction records may be retained as required for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.

Private voice and video conversations are not retained by Conch as audio or video recordings merely because those conversations occurred.

21. Backups

Conch may maintain limited backups for disaster recovery and service reliability.

Deletion from an active production system may not immediately remove every copy from a backup.

Information in backups is not intended to be restored to ordinary production use except when necessary for legitimate disaster recovery, security, or operational purposes.

Backup information is deleted or overwritten according to our backup-retention practices.

22. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Conch account.

Where available, account deletion may be initiated directly through Conch's account settings.

Conch also provides or intends to provide a web-accessible account-deletion process through its website.

Questions regarding account deletion may be directed to:

admin@conch.live

When an account is deleted, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with that account unless retention is reasonably necessary for:

  • security;
  • fraud prevention;
  • complying with applicable law;
  • accounting or tax obligations;
  • resolving disputes;
  • enforcing legal rights; or
  • another legitimate purpose permitted by law.

Deleting your account may not delete:

  • messages or content another user independently retained;
  • public information that has been copied or reposted by another person;
  • information contained in legally required financial records;
  • de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you; or
  • information Conch must temporarily retain for security or legal reasons.

Where information must be retained after account deletion, we will limit its use to the reason it was retained.

23. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal information we maintain about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of personal information;
  • obtain a portable copy of certain information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • opt out of certain uses of personal information;
  • opt out of sale or sharing of personal information;
  • opt out of targeted advertising;
  • appeal certain decisions relating to a privacy request; and
  • lodge a complaint with an appropriate privacy regulator.

Because Conch does not sell personal information or use private communications for targeted behavioral advertising, some opt-out rights may not apply to our current practices.

To submit a privacy request, contact:

admin@conch.live

We may need to verify that you are the person associated with the requested account before completing certain requests.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.

24. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

Certain U.S. states provide residents with specific privacy rights.

Depending on applicable law, the categories of personal information Conch may process include:

Identifiers

Examples include username, account ID, email address, IP address, device identifiers, and similar identifiers.

Customer and Account Information

Examples include account information, profile information, subscription information, and customer-support communications.

Commercial Information

Examples include subscriptions, purchases, billing status, trial eligibility, and transaction records.

Internet or Electronic Network Activity

Examples include login activity, server requests, application activity, security events, and device or browser information.

Approximate Location

We may infer an approximate location from an IP address for security, localization, or service operation.

We do not need precise GPS location merely to provide ordinary Conch messaging services unless a particular feature specifically requests location access.

Audio, Visual, and Electronic Communications

This can include communications that you choose to send using Conch.

Where qualifying communication content is protected by end-to-end encryption, Conch may store only the encrypted form.

Private live voice and video conversations are not intentionally retained by Conch as recordings.

Sensitive Personal Information

Certain laws may classify account credentials and the contents of private communications as sensitive personal information.

Conch processes this information only as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Services and does not use it to infer sensitive characteristics for advertising.

Inferences

Conch does not seek to build advertising profiles that infer sensitive personal characteristics from your private communications.

Sale and Sharing

Conch does not sell personal information.

Conch does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

25. End-to-End Encryption Limitations

End-to-end encryption is a powerful privacy technology, but it does not protect against every risk.

For example, E2EE cannot prevent:

  • the recipient of a message from taking a screenshot;
  • another person from accessing an unlocked device;
  • malware installed on a participant's device;
  • a participant from copying or forwarding information;
  • a participant from independently recording a conversation;
  • information intentionally posted publicly;
  • compromise of account credentials; or
  • information collected separately by another service or device.

Users should protect their devices, passwords, recovery information, and operating-system accounts.

26. Security

Conch uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information.

Depending on the information and service involved, these safeguards may include:

  • encryption in transit;
  • end-to-end encryption for supported communications;
  • encrypted attachments;
  • secure authentication;
  • access controls;
  • network protections;
  • rate limiting;
  • abuse detection;
  • security monitoring;
  • restricted administrative access;
  • secure development practices; and
  • testing intended to identify security failures before software releases.

No application, network, encryption system, or security measure can guarantee absolute security.

You should contact us promptly if you believe your account or Conch's systems have been compromised.

Contact:

admin@conch.live

27. Security Monitoring and Abuse Prevention

Conch may monitor its systems for malicious activity without reading end-to-end encrypted message content or listening to private voice and video conversations.

Security monitoring may include detecting:

  • repeated failed login attempts;
  • credential attacks;
  • automated account creation;
  • suspicious network traffic;
  • attempts to bypass authorization controls;
  • access to resources by unauthorized users;
  • attempts to exploit the application;
  • spam;
  • bots;
  • denial-of-service activity; and
  • other behavior that threatens Conch or its users.

We may retain security-related records for a reasonable period in order to investigate incidents and prevent repeated attacks.

Security monitoring does not give Conch permission to secretly activate your camera or microphone.

28. Age Requirement — Adults Only

Conch is intended exclusively for adults.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Conch.

Conch is not intended for children or teenagers under 18.

We do not knowingly permit individuals under the age of 18 to create or maintain Conch accounts.

By creating a Conch account or using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

If We Discover an Underage Account

If we learn or reasonably determine that an individual under 18 is using Conch, we may:

  • restrict the account;
  • suspend the account;
  • terminate the account;
  • request information reasonably necessary to confirm eligibility; and
  • delete information associated with the account as appropriate.

Our decision to restrict or terminate an account may be based on information available to us and our obligation to enforce the minimum-age requirement.

Parents and Guardians

Conch is not intended to be a service for children or teenagers.

Parents or guardians who believe that a person under 18 has created or is using a Conch account should contact:

admin@conch.live

Please provide enough information for us to identify and investigate the account.

Do not send sensitive identification documents unless Conch specifically requests them through an appropriate verification process.

No Parental-Consent Program

Conch does not currently operate a parental-consent program that allows individuals under 18 to use the standard Conch service with parental permission.

Parental permission does not override Conch's 18-and-older eligibility requirement.

29. International Users

Conch is based in the United States.

If you access Conch from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where Conch's service providers operate.

Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live.

Where required, Conch will use appropriate mechanisms for international transfers of personal information.

You are responsible for ensuring that you meet the minimum-age requirement and are legally permitted to use the Services in your jurisdiction.

30. Third-Party Websites and Services

Conch may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services.

This Privacy Policy does not control the privacy practices of those third parties.

If you choose to interact with another company or service, that company's privacy policy governs the information it independently collects.

Similarly, when you use Conch to send a link or information to another service, the other service may collect information under its own terms and privacy practices.

31. App Stores and Platform Providers

When you download or use Conch through a platform such as Apple or Google, the platform provider may independently collect information about your device, downloads, purchases, subscriptions, crashes, or application usage.

That information is governed by the platform provider's own privacy policies.

Information independently collected by Apple, Google, your mobile carrier, device manufacturer, operating-system provider, or internet provider is not controlled by this Privacy Policy unless Conch separately receives that information.

Operating systems such as Android and iOS may also display indicators when your camera or microphone is being accessed.

You can review and revoke Conch's camera and microphone permissions through your operating system's privacy settings.

32. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Conch will continue to evolve.

We may update this Privacy Policy when we:

  • introduce new features;
  • change service providers;
  • change information practices;
  • respond to legal requirements;
  • improve our privacy protections; or
  • otherwise modify the Services.

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and may provide additional notice through the application, website, email, or another appropriate method.

We will not retroactively use previously collected personal information in a materially different manner without providing notice or obtaining consent where required by law.

33. Contact Conch

Questions, privacy requests, account-deletion questions, reports involving an underage user, or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy may be directed to:

Conch LLC Arizona, United States

Email: admin@conch.live Website: conch.live

Please include enough information for us to understand and respond to your request.

Never send us your password, recovery phrase, private encryption keys, authentication codes, or other sensitive authentication credentials by email.

34. Our Commitment

Conch exists because private communication should not require surrendering unnecessary personal information.

We will continue to design Conch around data minimization, encryption, reasonable security, transparency, and user control.

Where Conch must process information to operate the service, our goal is to collect only what is reasonably necessary and protect it appropriately.

Where technology allows information to remain private between users, our goal is to keep it that way.

Your camera is yours.

Your microphone is yours.

Your private conversations are yours.

Conch's job is to provide the connection — not to watch, listen to, record, profile, or monetize what happens through it.
