Shore — chronological social on Conch
Shore is the social side of Conch — a chronological social experience where you follow people and topics intentionally, explore public content in Discover, and share posts without behavioral advertising profiles.
What Shore is
Shore is Conch’s chronological social network. It lives inside the same app as messaging, communities, and games so you do not need a separate social product for feeds and DMs.
Conch does not build behavioral advertising profiles from Shore activity or mine Shore usage for targeted advertising.
Following
Following shows posts from accounts you chose to follow, in chronological order — newest posts from those accounts appear in time order, not re-ranked for engagement.
Topics
Topics shows chronological content associated with hashtags or topics you intentionally follow. You decide which topics matter; Conch does not substitute hidden interest profiling for your choices.
Discover
Discover is a separate area for exploring public Shore content. It is not described as behavioral personalization or an engagement-maximizing feed.
Plans and video
Shore is included on Hermit (free) and paid plans. Everyone can watch Shore videos. Posting video to Shore requires Conch+; text and image posting are available on plans as described in pricing.
