Shore is Conch’s private social layer — for people who want to share and follow without behavioral advertising, data selling, or engagement-ranked feeds.
Social without the attention economy
Shore includes text, image, and video posts, following, and topic subscriptions. Your Following and Topics feeds show posts chronologically from people and topics you chose to follow.
Conch does not use an engagement-ranked feed designed to maximize time in the app.
Following-based and chronological
You decide who and what to follow. Posts appear in the order they were published. That makes the feed predictable and puts you in control of what you see.
Included on Hermit and paid plans
Shore is included on the free Hermit plan and on Shell and Conch+. Conch does not use behavioral advertising in Shore and does not sell personal data to fund the product.
